As part of our commitment to supporting Local Educational Agencies (LEAs), CSIS is proud to help facilitate the implementation of Senate Bill (SB) 153. This legislation requires all public high schools (grades 9–12) to partner with the California College Guidance Initiative (CCGI) to provide “transcript-informed” accounts for students. Our role includes verifying that student information systems (SIS) meet the necessary criteria, such as aligning with the standards and providing transcript data through an API. Importantly, SIS vendors must comply with these requirements without passing the costs onto LEAs, ensuring a seamless and cost-effective integration process.
